Canberra Shutters worked closely with the owner of this Hawker home to create custom-designed and manufactured Bahama Shutters.  The owner had two main objectives in adopting this design: to create a solution that provided a beautiful aesthetic to the facade of her home, and to be able to control light into her front rooms (through rotation of the blades).

Bahama shutters are mounted on the exterior of a home or commercial building, normally at a 45-degree angle above your window.  Given they are externally mounted, we constructed these from aluminium and then permanently affixed in the position, installed against the eaves and supported by powder coated side props.
